Charlotte is opgegroeid in Frankrijk, en heeft in Nederland de Rietveld Academie afgerond. Met haar eerste eigen prentenboek “Dido” uit 1985 bestaat haar oeuvre nu uit meer dan 150 titels. Zij viel meermaals in de prijzen, waaronder de Gouden Penseel in 2008 voor het prentenboek “Sinterklaas”. Haar tekeningen kenmerken zich door de details en de sprookjesachtige sfeer. Charlotte grew up in France, and completed the Rietveld Academy in the Netherlands. With her first own picture book “Dido” from 1985, her oeuvre now consists of more than 150 titles. She has won several prizes, including the Golden Brush in 2008 for the “Sinterklaas” picture book. Her drawings are characterized by the details and the fairytale atmosphere.
