Props artisan Props artisans provide all the props for the opera and ballet performances. Props can be all sorts of objects: sometimes, the prop artisans make seven hundred foam skulls; other times – in Die ersten Menschen for example – they are responsible for a table full of fruit and a bloody cuddly sheep.
