Our guided tours take you to all the different spaces where artists, creators and craftspeople work tirelessly every day to create exquisite productions for your enjoyment. Regular guided tours last for one hour and fifteen minutes. Group tours are available upon request. During the Open House, we warmly invite you to step inside the entire theatre and the Production Workshop in AmsterdamZuidoost. Immerse yourself in the captivating world behind our screens, participate in workshops, enjoy a variety of performances and catch a sneak peek of our upcoming productions. Introductions Delve into additional background information just before the performance begins. Forty-five minutes prior to curtain-up an enthusiastic expert will provide insights into the production you are about to experience. Discover interesting facts, gain fresh perspectives and receive explanations about the story or direction, all accompanied by beautiful visuals. The introductions are given in Dutch and take place prior to performances on the Main Stage. They are held in the Souterrain and are free and accessible without reservation when you present your ticket for the performance. Food and drinks Would you like to skip the queue at the bar or indulge in a more luxurious pre-show drink? Treat yourself during the intermission! You can pre-order your food and drinks or take advantage of a special drinks package (available only for performances on the Main Stage). Adjacent to Studio Boekman, you'll find our new Theatre Café. Here, in the delightful atmosphere of the theatre, you can enjoy a small bite or a drink – perfect for before or after our performances.
