Manos Que Ven Hands that see Artisan pottery from Oaxaca, Mexico Literally translated, ‘Manos Que Ven’ means ‘hands that see’. And that is exactly the case in the workshop of José García Antonio and Teresita Mendoza Sánchez. Since José lost his sight in 2003, he relies on his experienced hands when sculpting statues and utensils from red clay. After José has created the basic shapes, Teresita designs the detailing and Ånishing. The art they make together stands out in its authenticity and creativity. We are very happy and proud to represent José and Teresita’s ‘Manos Que Ven’. Each piece of artwork is truly unique, one of a kind and only available in very limited numbers. 20
