From the beginning of my journey at Avans, I have been welcomed by friendly and supportive people. During the planning of this book and the associated inaugural speech, Ellen Herbrink and Eveline de Meij provided invaluable assistance, for which I am deeply grateful. Two chapters in this book were co-authored by Eric Coorens and Elena Lomeli Aguirre. Their expertise on Regenerative Leadership and Collective Agency perfectly complemented the research group’s objectives. Alongside Eric and Elena, the research group was co-founded with Agnie Papaloukas and Han van Son. Together, they challenged ideas, offered fresh perspectives, and inspired me in shaping its direction. At Avans, I have consistently encountered encouragement. As Centre of Expertise Wellbeing Economy and New Entrepreneurship director, Arna Arnautovic supported my ideas unwaveringly. Ton van Kollenburg, with whom I collaborate in the Verbindingsteam Werkveld, inspired me with his approach to research. Numerous colleagues generously involved me in research proposals. Jack Doomernik included me in two NWO grant applications, one of which was awarded. Marleen Janssen Groesbeek connected me to a MaaS application, and Kaj Morel introduced me to a Sprong application, recently approved. I have also worked with Ingrid Janssen and Leon Kuijpers on enhancing sustainable transitions in Den Bosch.
