Elena Lomeli Aguirre Agnie Papaloukas Eric Coorens Elena is a meaning seeker, a researcher, an artist, an innovator, a valuesdriven individual, an activist, and a happy person who strives to be the best version of herself and to contribute to making a difference in people’s lives. She has an inquisitive heart that has led her to explore different territories, play different roles, and encounter diverse people and places. Elena’s journey has taken her out of her native Mexico to become a Student in France, a Marketing manager in the U.S.A., an Advocacy advisor and Development worker in Uganda and Nigeria, an Adventurer in India, and a Researcher in the Netherlands. Elena is currently a Senior Researcher within the Centre of Expertise Wellbeing Economy and New Entrepreneurship at Avans University of Applied Sciences. In her research, she explores the creation of a mindset for the emergence of a culture of economic well-being. She explores how values, mental models, and context can support the connection with the multi-identity self, with the other, and with the world. Elena holds a MA in International Negotiations and a MA in International Sustainable Development Studies. She also holds certifications in Resilience studies, Systems thinking, Yoga, Art, and Innovations Management. Agnie works as a junior researcher at the New Entrepreneurship research group. She conducts research on impact entrepreneurship. She studied HRM at Avans University of Applied Sciences and completed a master’s in organisation Studies, specializing in Global Management of Social Issues at Tilburg University. For her master’s thesis, she explored legal forms for impact entrepreneurship. During her thesis, she participated in a training programme on impact entrepreneurship called Future proof. She eventually worked as a coordinator for this program before transitioning to Avans. Eric is a senior researcher at the New Entrepreneurship research group, primarily focusing on the transition of organisations and regions towards well-being, with a specialization in regenerative leadership and regenerative business practices. He works closely with all stakeholders in the field and students to create measurable impact through applied research. Following his studies in mechanical engineering and business administration, Eric worked as a management consultant at KPMG and held executive positions at companies such as Kwantum and international publicly listed companies like Macintosh and Carpetright, as well as NGOs like TFT/Earthworm. He completed his DBA at Audencia in Nantes, France, on the topic of regenerative leadership.
